this is an ab workout, while it gives you some cardio work, you should try the tae bo workouts if you want to lose weight, maybe do this alongside it. how much you lose will depend partly how much you weigh initially, and yes also your diet. diet + cardio = weightloss (basic maths, only intake what you need, if you have extra calories, you'll need to work it off with exercise)
