if i see a dead animal on the road, i stop my car and atleast move it to better ground, then atleast mother nature can take care of it.

not really, depending on how the dog was run over, the wounds can heal....for example, the train and the baby incident, the baby was run over by a train, the only injuries he had were a cut to the head and bruises.
