His own song and NOBODY did it better then him... not Sinatra, nor Clooney or anyone. Not to mention that his is the only complete version of it on YouTube, folks!
And what a honey well perfectly modulated voice, virtuoso pianistic accompaniment, just a brilliant performer, undeservedly overlooked and forgotten. Nobody even comes close to him today.

eehm they just don`t get the deal they deserve..
if you would like to go out and see some "real"music, you would have to find an artist bar where there is an open stage,.. we have a few of them in holland and its a joy everytime i go

Like his contemporaries Bobby Troup and Julie London, Matt Dennis leaves behind many great memories.  Like Troup, he leaves behind many compositions, too numerous to post here.
