Dang, If there were EVER an event like this in america, and if it happened, it would have to be 50 days long (with the event taking place each day, happening in every state)

7:43 If you listen, Itoi calls Mount Itoi "Holy Loly Mountain", which was the original name before the Earth Bound localization. I kind of like the original name, but they renamed it in Itoi's honor, so you've got to appreciate it.
