This movie is one of the best I've ever watched. Classic.
On top of the marvelous performance by Tony and Maggie, the music accounts for a big chunk of this movie's classicality. It just fits into the scenes so seamlessly. I didn't research the awards this movie earned, I would really be surprised if music was not among those awards. It's so beautiful and sad, totally agree with richmattgal, you get emotionally drained just by listening to the music, even without watching the movie. Classic....

In Tony Leung Chiu-Wai in some scenes has something of Clark Gable, i dont know why ... a character somewhat reserved. Nice.

The play pf both Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung is marvellous. Such an outstnading film.

You know what makes a great film? To evocate emotions without being sentimental. It's only th 9 minutes of music ... but the film by itself is very puristic. Great work, Mr. Wong.
