The Verve - Come on(Live)

if we're comparing bands, I'm not going to hate on Coldplay, they are a lot cooler than their "fans".
Radiohead has such a complex-driven crowd and they're way too depressed for me. I can't buy they're "I'm a rock star woe is me" act.. Esp. if they're tickets cost $1000+ at places like Outlands during a subprime crisis. :0/

I just like the Verve, Killers and Muse better. i think the quality of a band is related directly to how much their fans are enjoying the show.

One of my fave songs, really can't decide which I like better...the studio Version on Urban Hymns or this ! Both are fucking APOCALYPTIC !!! absolutely awesome !! the energy is never ending and infectious, feel like I can do anything when I hear both !! :)

Simon played the intro to gravity grave just before they started this song. When the crowd responded Richard said they couldn't play GG because they didn't have the proper effect. (The echoplex? ha.) Personally I think it was because they wanted to film this song as the closer in Detroit. Fantastic show...as was St Andy's '93.

The Verve are one of the greats. If for nothing else, just on the basis that they can play a song live, and make it sound as good (if not better), full and rich as it does on a studio recording. I mean, this is note for note perfect.

they sound better live than they do in a studio. The manufactured music scene does them no justice, the Verve is a real rock band.
