Artists need to get off their fat asses and GIG, not just play for 70 minutes and then sit back for two years. To hell with record revenues!

I think it's a really stupid and superfluous message. I'm all for supporting artists and NOT for copying music illegally. But then: DON'T post it on YouTube! I mean: duh?!

Why not post it? People need to be reminded CONSTANTLY about how illegal downloading is killing music. Then maybe they will stop STEALING and artists can pay their fucking rent!

Dawn - a fitting title for this song. This is the kind of track one can play while watching the sun rise above the clouds.

Amazing guitar work here - jittery psychedelia and freerange jazz. No wonder Miles wanted him in his band, small wonder there's a song named for him on Bitches Brew. :)

I like the Celtic folk overtones as well with the violins

Hell, he got a second song named after him on Big Fun named "Go Ahead John," which is easily my favorite side.

Re: Dylan - That's a kickass track. I have Big Fun on vinyl, found it brand new on Ebay. It's my fav track as well - swaggering wah-wah guitar work, a nasty sax solo, brooding bass - amazing. What's nice about the LP is it's a double album, each with a side-long track. The artwork is better, too.

"Lonely Fire" from that LP is also pretty sweet. Those 2 tracks are hugely understated, IMO.
