you don't need it, but dying for honor in many cases has alot more valuable, imagine this, i'd take your child's life by accident, i would rather if you would kill me in honor and respect for what i did, then continue on with my life, while you were suffering about your loss. it has nothing to do with religion or races, it's about remorse, conscious and mostly honor yes.
