yes gymnastics is very important to them, but to basically say that they have no lives beyond that is ridiculous.

apparently they cheered for their team and country, and that made them bad people. I don't get it either.

i don't think it made them bad people...
but looking at it from the other countries perspectives you have to say it must have been a rough olympic games for them.. hard to gear yourself up when you know 30 thousand people in there could care less how you do and want the team in the red white and blue to win over you..
understandable?.. of course.. your American you cheer for your American athletes despite that it still must have been frustrating to be a Romanaian or Russian etc. @ these games

Tim said the Americans needed 2 major breaks, which means not only did Moceanu and Strug have to fall, but one other gymnast as well. And when Dom. M was about to VT, Tesh said she needed a 9.743 before Dom. D's 9.762 was computed, which meant Moceanu only needed a 9.0-something to win.

how come they hav that litle blue mat for when kerri goes but not for when dominique m goes?

probably a personal preference.. some like to land with a sting mat some don't
