carriebeefamous, you would have a relationship with someone that wont talk to you or even let you see them? I am doing more for you right now then your imaginary god ever did or ever will.

How do we know that Christians are delusional?

If you believe that, you're missing a truly amazing relationship. But it's okay. God loves everyone. Even you.

As for praying in public, Jesus said that you were not to pray in public for all to see, because you want all to see you. Your prayers are to be for God, not to impress man with your words. But there is nothing wrong with praying in public, as long as you aren't doing it to prove anything to the people around you, but to praise God, and ask Him for help.

Why didn't God "teach us movable type while He was here so that the Bible would be copied perfectly over the ages?" All I can say to that is, that it would eliminate the need for faith. If you had absolute proof that you could see and feel, what would be the need to believe, to trust, and to give us a choice in whether we believe or not. If God literally spelled out on the street in front of you, I AM GOD, would you need to have faith to believe in Him. We are to follow God of our own accord.

Bard6760, funny how they call him "of Nazareth" when he is supposed to be from Bethlehem and the Romans never forced a census there. The entire story is fabrication. He wasn't even sacrificed since he didn't stay dead. Nonsensical story about an imaginary Jesus.

proof Jesus didn't exist!

To me this sounds a bit more like Jesus of Nazareth. Also please hit the reply button on my posts if you want to refer to me, so it sends me an e-mail regarding it and don't have to dig through all of these posts.

He was the Christ, and when Pilate, at suggestion of the principal men among us, has condemned him to the cross, those who loved him at the first did not forsake him; for he appeared to them alive again the third day; as a divine prophets had foretold these and ten thousands other wonderful things concerning him. And the tribe of Christians so named from him are not extinct at this day" (Antiquities, XVIII, 33).

Sorry, I thought I gave you a quote from Josephus earlier in response to what you said about Feldman. Here it is again (split up into parts): "Now there was a about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man, for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure. He drew to him both many of the Jews, and many Gentiles...
