Yes it was one big Ford car show.. just like that show from the 1990's Viper? It was STUFFED with all chrysler/Dodge cars!

There's still such a thing as "sponsor conflict". A classic, if little known example, was Jack Benny's attempt to feature the cast of "THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES" as guest stars on one of his 1963 episodes. The deal fell through because their primary sponsor- Kellogg's- was a rival of HIS alternate sponsor, General Foods {the makers of POST cereals}. The "HILLBILLIES" were too identified with their sponsor to appear on a competing sponsor's show. So, the fuss over Will Arnett wasn't unusual...
