Both could do Jeter better than they did. Jeter never walks the way the show showed and Jeter's too classy to just fling the bat down. That looked like Big Papi's home run swag (heavy walk) 1:18

@jenloy12 (part 4) If the thing that bothers you in "MLB 2k baseball" is because "Jeter [never] leave the bat like that w[ith] homers!!!" is of concern, then I hope you would have noticed that batter's not "stepping out of the box" in "The Show" would have been more of a concern.

All 9 batters (or most) "stand in the box after each pitch" in "THE SHOW" AND all 9 batters "step off the plate/out of the batter's box after each pitch" in the "MLB 2k BASEBALL" which one is more REAL?

@jenloy12 (part 3) What I mentioned about batters stepping out of the box is IMPORTANT because this is what players do in the actual game of baseball. After each pitch, the batter usually "steps off the plate" or "steps out of the batter's box" to prepare for the next pitch. MLB 2k baseball does this nicely; The Show on the other only has some players do it, while most players in The Show simply remains in the batters box. Please give credit where credit is due.

@jenloy12 (part 2)
@0:35 - 1:00. "MLB 2k Baseball" Derek Jeter steps off the plate after the pitch. Looks more authentic than simply standing in the "box after each pitch" as is seen in "The Show.

@3:10 - 3:50. "The Show," even on close pitches, the batter simply stands there

@4:04 - 4:17. "MLB 2k" Notice how the batter steps off the plate after a pitch.

@5:17 - 6:00. "The Show," notice how Pujols simply stand there after each pitch, including close pitches that almost hits the body.

@jenloy12 (part 1) Before I say anything further, I must say that yes I absolutely love, love "The Show."

BUT there are aspects where "MLB 2k baseball" does it better than "The Show." Traditionally, batters would "step out of the batter's box" after each pitch. "MLB 2k" has this done properly. This is IMPORTANT because it gives the game authenticity - it replicates what happens in baseball. "Stepping out of the box" is PART of the reason why a baseball game takes around 3 hours to finish.
