Lynn was as good as anyone out there. I saw him a couple of times in 1974 with Maynard. I never understood why he left the band so quickly. Stan Mark stayed for 10 years! I still think it was the most ferocious trumpet section I ever heard.

Never had the privledge to see Severinsen live....Maynard was terriffic though...and gave lots of kids attn at local schools in about ever town he ever played...
