I found this anime a few days ago, and I find it very interesting. I read your comments, and I didn't know there's a movie version of this. Can we find it on Youtube or another site online? Thank you for your attention.

Love this, I own the movie as well, and his second one, trying to find his latest work but its hard to find on dvd so I downloaded it

Take a look at his newer works. The character drawings get better. I'm not sure if the characters are drawn by him though. The scenery still stays amazing. In fact, I think it gets better too.

I rather enjoy the naiveté of these drawings. They have personality and a unique style. the characters in his later works look to much of a generic anime style. Not to say they didn't improve, he still holds a unique characteristic with his textures and backgrounds, but the rendering of the later characters lack enthusiasm.
