arik Einshtein is "the" Israeli singer. He's been singing from the 60s I think. This video I think is from the 70s. Shalom Hanoch, who composed this song, is singing with him. Arik didn't compose his song, but he knew how to pick the best song writers, and sang some of the classics in Israeli music. He's a legend in Israel but for quite some time he's not performing or recording, and prefers not to be in the public eye

I like that Beatles' touch by Shalom Hanoch in the middle of the song, which seems out of place on first hearing.
