This kickass song started it all for me when I was 16 years old in Wisconsin! Grew my hair long, bought a beat-up old Hammond C-3, Leslie 760, a whole stack of other keyboards, joined a local rock band, and played out the rock star fantasy for four years before joining the Navy!

Totally. I only like some modern country music and a lot of pre-1997 music.

I have vivid memories of the first time I heard this song when I was a little girl ... the experience was very surreal ...

Awesome Hammond B-3! Geez! I f---in' love this tune! For the longest, I though it was the Guess Who so I remember finding Sugarloaf in a bargin bin in the late 1970's.
I thought this was released in 1968?

All of this spitting at one another over one of the top five rock songs ever.
What a shame. You must be non-musicians, or worse.
