Joininkinma: You are correct regarding his bills (Violence against Women in particular) and even more critical was his leadership as Chair of Senate Judiciary Committee along with member Ted Kennedy who both made absolutely certain nominee Judge Bork did not sit on U.S. Supreme Court & has since disappeared into the judicial sunset.
