George Harrison - Gopala Krishna

Yeah that's what I've gathered from it too. He was in tune to a certain spiritual calling, but wasn't sure what to call it. maybe?

hehe. all i know is george was a loving, peaceful, and giving person.  he put his heart and soul into all of his music and his life! :)

I noticed that, too. I've taken that to mean that he was open to Christianity, too, and perhaps still applied certain aspects to his life (though not by necessarily following a particular denomination). Then again, I'm interpreting, and I'm not certain why he did what he did. :)

Always loved his playing. Great writer...

He has a wondeful tone here, that he used often at the end of the Beatles, as well as the excellent "All Things Must Pass" album. Love that phasing. Pretty.

From what I recall reading ages ago, George never officially converted to Hinduism or the ISKCON movement--in name, he was still Catholic. Of course, we know very well that he did not practice Catholicism later on his life. I suppose he saw officially converting as a matter trivial to practice itself, which I feel much the same way.
