fallout 1 and 2 are the REAL fallout games, fallout 3 was thrown together without any regard for correct lore, or atmosphere, they took what was supposed to be a survival rpg and turned it into halo with radiation. bethesda should stick with the elderscrolls, there may still be hope with obsidian (formerly black isle, the developers of fallout 1 and 2) working on new vegas, but if they fail, fallout is doomed.

Don't blame the game if you are not able to appriciate it fully. Sure, the Fallout 1 and 2 are great game, but so are nr 3. I have played them all, and loved them all.

i blame bethesda, not fallout 3, it was a fun game, but its not a fun FALLOUT game

i made that comparison because fallout 3 was overly action oriented to an unrealistic standard, when fallout is supposed to be a survival rpg. there was nothing survival about fallout 3, as much as they tried to make it look like it was, and besides. fallout dlc, more like linear fps inside an rpg.
