I am now ready to buy this Serato. I thinking about buying the Mac Apple laptop. Can you tell me what laptop model is best for that Serato. Beside the laptop and the Serato are there anything else that I need to buy to make it a complete set? (I alreddy have the Pioneer mixer and 2 CDJ)
Please tell me in detail, so I can buy them. I like to keep it for awhile so I will need the best. That way I do not have to replace them.

Any laptop apple sells now wil lbe just fine. Serato uses very little resources. So if you bought a macbook, it would last you for a long time. It would probably break from overuse than ever get too slow to run Serato well.

Im thinking about buying this serato scratch live. Im using CDJ instead of vinyl, Im also playing trance and dance music (I rarely scratch)I know if I use laptop i don't have to carry all the cds with me. What is other benefits of using the Serato? Does it helps you match the beat? Please give me a few ideal before I buy this Serato Scratch Live.

It won't beatmtach for you, but does give you a visual aspect to the beats. For me, being able to search, categorize, and sort my tracks is huge. But you might not be as interested in that.

It will help you beat match as the beats are visual & you just have to align them.
