秋川さんの凄さは、この歌を自分の歌にしていないところだと思う 。なんだかあえて第三者的な立場で皆に伝えているようなそんな感 じを受ける。対して平原さんは、当事者的な立場からのメッセージ ソングに聴こえる。表現の仕方でここまで違う歌に聴こえるものな んですね。決して引き立て役ではないですよ。どちらも凄いと思い ます！

My Japanese isn't good enough to translate, but basically this show is about songs that give people courage and hope. The song Jupiter was how she first experienced this. In 2004, there was a big earthquake in Nigata-ken which caused lots of damage. After the earthquake, the radio stations received many requests for the song Jupiter. Through this she realized that this song gave people courage and hope. The next summer, she was able to sing it live for these people.
