We wouldn't be listening to this piece at all but for du Pré's championship. Bravi to Ma and Barenboim for continuing her legacy. Is he playing her Strad' cello "Davidov"?

I don't know why, but I just prefer the du Pré version... I love Ma, but just not as much with this piece... Why is that, I wonder?

u can ask daniel the conductor directly
he also the one who conduct the du pre's concert when she played elgar
du pre is really much better
however its my opinion
