'The World- not riddle enough to frighten away human love; not solution enough to put to sleep human wisdom." -F. Nietzsche.

Freidrich was a laughing, dancing, musical philosopher, ~not a didactician, drudge, veil-maker or system-builder.

He is a refreshing wave washing away eons of creaking confabulations and delusional armor.

You need to be more an amphisbaenic poet to speak of his work, not a staccato, pedantic logician.

He gambols and gambles.

He does not march or parch.

If you're so against religion and in support of reason (I assume you feel they're incompatible), how can you justify saying God damn? Either the Abrahamic God that is in the business of damning things exists and has explicitly requested that you not use that term or he doesn't and there is nothing to do the damning and the term is meaningless. Take either position, but don't fall into inconsistency, the hobgloblin of little minds.

i'm sorry. i'm not english or american.i'm from Belgium so i don't realy understand what you're saying. But i think what you meant was why i used the meaningless word 'goddamn'. I think you're right about the fact that it is indeed meaningless but lots of words and things are. What we do or what we say. If i wanna say 'Godfuckingdammit' i say it, because i want to. and that is that. cheers mate

I hypothesise that personality(Character)is psychological appearance. Our consciousness being the conjonction of our memory, senses and psychology. There is deep psychology (sub-conscious) and superficial(personality)its kinf of our inner look(inner beauty...or) thus we could parallel getting a new hair cut, cloth and make-up to Nietzsche adding style to character...just gotta be metaphorical and psychological(reflex clarification)...

Its amusing how people see Nietzsche as some kind of liberator. Of course he was, at first glance, to a great degree... but taking his thought to its ultimate end... he did NOT want most people to be free, or to think for themselves, he found both concepts inherently absurd. He saw life as becoming, a battle of powers - his main critique of prevalent dogmas was that they gave the powerful guilty consciences.
