I argue that anyone can smash someones face in,but to hit them so fast that they can't avoid or block it and to do it without breaking their jaw is more skillfull.They could the other persons head off if they wanted to.

Karate Do Kumite is meant for one single attack enough to destroy opponent. Yes there is contact but, control shows your a better karate ka.
