Actually the lead singer went to high school with my drum teacher and was a total douche to everyone. When the original Puddle of Mudd was signed the record company only asked for him, and told him the to leave the rest of his band mates behind, and play with these guys in LA. So he did leave his band behind and now makes music for some trendy record company that is out to make a profit. To me he is another lame pop artist who is selling out.
