15-year old Shawn Johnson of Des Moines, Iowa clinched the women's all-around world title after an outstanding floor routine. Johnson was fifth after two rotations before she stunned the crowd and the judges on the floor. In her first year of senior competition, she also adds a US team gold medal to her individual. Johnson joins Kim Zmeskal (1991), Shannon Miller (1993-94) and Chellsie Memmel (2005) as the only four US women gymnasts to ever win an all-around world title. (WCSN, WCSN.com, USA Gymnastics)

?_? it said she's 15 I thought you had to be 16 to compete in Olympic events; that''s why some countries are questioned - 'cause you have to be 16 minimum; so wth is she competing for?
Nastis luiken is so much better and shawn is such a brat, because when I met her she did not act very nice to me and Nastia was so generous and i dont think shawn is going to make it back to training gymnsastics easy because she is sort of out of shape.
