I guess it is all relative and relative to the way she normally looks she does not look so good here. If I had never had laid my eyes on her before she would look just fine. Anyway it is was her voice that was her forte not her looks. Did you know that she was banned in mainland China as too "bourgeois" for several years in the early 1980s? . Her record label was Japanese Polydor for a good while and she won 6 awards in Japan so perhaps that is why she loved Japan also.

I already regret that I made a comment about TT that seems uncomplimentary. How about that hairdo? Looks extremely Japanese to me!

Dima, Mt Everest will collapse on you if you do not withdraw your criticsm of TT, loved by 1.3 billion of people, and perhaps more!

lol you criticised her first. Mine is not criticism just an observation on how she seems to have aged all of a sudden. Her voice is still sweet though.

Dima,
As a full-blooded Chinese who loves China with all "my heart", I hesitated writing my personal feeling but felt and still do that it has to be expressed just to show my love to Teresa is genuine , uncompromised and unpretentious. If they want to crucify me, let me be Joan de Arc! As an Anglo Saxon woman who loves China through music and taichi, your observation is objective but not necessarily well received. Then, again, you are not running for an office here. So take it easy!

It does not look so Japanese? Hey What happened to her, she looks like a bloated 60 year old woman here, look at her face, is this the same slender reasonably pretty woman I am used to seeing?

Dima, she does look somewhat different. Maybe she had a hard time in Japan. She always has my admiration.

It's called growing older, aging, maturing. At least she didn't resort to plastic surgery. Who knows why she looks the way she does in the video?

@david1234lee ... she's got a hair wrap of some sort ... it's not her real hair.
