Nope. It's amazingly rare to see a Japanese actor/actress kiss onscreen. When it happens, it's an earthshaking event. In stark contrast, when two foreigners kiss, it is treated like "oh well..."
Because of the advent of viral video like YouTube, mainstream western actors have become less inclined to act cheesy or say stupid things for cash in Japan like they did back in the old days. Now they talk minimally and act dignified like in this commercial. Gone are the days of guys Nicolas Cage and Harrisson Ford hamming it up to sell goods they'll never use because they believe that no one in the west will ever see it. Tommy Lee Jones is the exception because he's old enough not to care.
