Yeah copying bowie, doing half assed glam rock, then selling out and trying to do musicals. He was SO far ahead of his time! Because, glam rock progressed so far beyond that! IDIOTS!!

Can anyone in the know tell me if the lyric " 'Satisfaction" goes a long, long way, much more than "Five Long Years" this day" was a subtle (or not so subtle) dig at Bowie, referencing "Five Years" from "Ziggy Stardust" or am I reading too much into this?

I'm pretty sure that's the reference. I think "satisfaction" might actually be the song as well, "roll away the stone" by Mott the hoople too.
