The song at the end of the video is Johnny Kidd & the Pirates 'Shakin' All Over'. It's been edited though, as there is no singing. The guitar playing in the movie is 'F.B.I.' by The Shadows.

Here's a true story. When I was 21 an event happened that upset my folks so badly that temporarily disowned me - I'd gone againt their wishes and behind their backs and bought an H100S (the big scary version!). In a tearful reconciliation they said they still loved their son but couldn't understand how I'd become a b***r. Like a lot of their generation, they'd grown up hating bikes and the culyure that went with it. That's how damaging the whole cafe racer phenonemon was.

....and gave bikers a bad image that lasted for years. They were that era's equivalent of today's Asbo scum who drive stolen cars around council estates. 'S funny that the same ppl who celebrate their legacy today by painstakingly building authentic copies are the exactly the kind of respectable hard working ppl who wouldn't even have pissed on those low life back then.

(Don't mean to to spoil the vid, just thought I'd get that off my chest, I am a biker BTW)

Ppl want to reinvent cafe racers as something romantic and glamorous.WTF!! My mother showed me a cafe in Barry, S Wales(then a bustling holiday resort) where she remembers cafe racing in the early sixties. The bikers were foul-mouthed and aggressive and would go tearing round Barry Island Lake at dangerous speeds on bike that were generally illegal/unroadworthy/stolen and always with the baffles removed. They were feared and hated by everyone else.
