One of the greatest symphonies ever and my personal favorite work. I used to work at the WTC and was there on 9/11/01 and must've listened to the Funeral march thousands of times in the following years--in my opinion, no other music better captured the immeasurable sadness and loss of that day better , even better than Mozart or Brahms' Requiems. Whoever dragged 50 Cent or Lady Gaga into this discussion should be waterboarded (or at least mercilessly ridiculed...)

No frustration in Beethoven? No beauty in hip-hop? Music is art. Art is what the observer thinks it to be.

This is when I tell myself : "If Gods exist, one of them just died 183 years ago." Pure music lives on forever~

"O que de vislumbre em vislumbre iremos compreendendo
será a ágil indolência de sucessivas aberturas
em que as labaredas de um outro sentido
tão selvagem e tão preciosamente puro que anulará o sentido das palavras"
