@YouWarhammer, I think u should its super fun, however the mechanics and physics are awful but if you like free roam games where you just blow the crap out of things deff get it cause IT ROCKS for that.

So, on Xbox/PS3, is this game worth playing? I found the PS2 version wholly lacking the fun, originality and general madness of the first. But, as I now have an Xbox, should I buy this?

absolutely. It is loads better than the PS2 version. And if you are like me, lacking any consoles, then the PC version is great, especially if you have a powerful rig.
