There's a new English Vocaloid, Sonika. She's more in line with the Japanese Vocaloids in terms of appearance and such. No surprise that she's also probably the most popular English Vocaloid there is.

gawd i wish i was in japan were at LEAST i could listen to miku not some retarded ripoff version i sometimes HATE living in america cuz i want all these things from Japan that they SHOULD bring to the USA but they dont -_-

Jeez... I whole-heartedly think American society lacks taste. At least 90% of it anyways... Our Vocaloid versions bare no feeling. It's just your typical, everyday blonde country girl voice and mysterious'ish that were supplied with. I mean come on... ANN?!? No one I'll ever meet listens to oldbies anymore. America fails. And I'm cursed to live in it :P

Actually, if we could just get an English version for Miku, I would shut up and be happy with what I have.

With the Japanese characters I get the idea they are targeted towards more younger crowds while the English versions are targeted towards a.. how do I say it? Older.. crowd that focuses less on the 'popular youtube / among teen' side of Vocaloid and more on the 'creation of music' side.
