Yes but as we all know Japan is hunting whales for commercial reasons and if you find any internationally recognised research that warranted the killing of 1000 plus whales a year, I'd be happy to see it?. I will also say that Britain was a whaling nation and the reason why they stopped whaling is because the whale stocks were diminishing, another point you can farm beef you can't farm whales.

The Japanese are hunting the whales based on the 1986 moratorium that the international community created. It states that a certain number of whales may be killed for research purposes and no part of the killed whales should be wasted. Don't blame the Japanese for knowing how to read. And no the rest of the world did not just stop hunting whales because they care. I am American. We do not eat fish. We eat beef. There isn't a market in America for whale meat. That's why we don't hunt.

It's nice to see that when you are white and terrorizing non-white people that it is perfectly ok. In fact, they label it protesting. Maybe if Japan really wants to stop them, they should pay some middle eastern people to pose as anti-whaling protesters.
