I find it funny how conservatives think more regulation on the insurance industry yet keeping it in private hands is a "government take-over". Even if we did the right thing and nationalized health care like in the rest of the industrialized world where health insurance systems aren't broken, it would be a "government take-over" no more agregious than the "government take-over" of other aspects of public well-being like fire departments and police forces.

The federal government does not control fired departments and police force. The individual STATES do that ! LOL
Nationalizing Health Care means giving it to the federal government ! And letting them bankrupt it like they did social security ! Fire departments and police are paid for by individual state taxes and individual states determine their needs and budgets they have nothing to do with FEDERAL !
