Bruce Lee was one anything.
Neither China's continental Martial art knew, just deceived the western fools.
He only was an actor and anyway a very bad actor.
Study a little China's continental Martial arts before idolizing a weak man, just like went at least out from the initial apprenticeship of WING CHUN, once it abandoned your master and traveled to the United States.

Bruce Lee said several times in public who there were lots of Chinese masters that were very superior to him. In this he was right. Bruce Lee was only an ignorant in China's continental Martial arts.

He also was a close friend of the acting world champion (Chuck Norris) and is directly responsible for Chuck's movie career. They trained together.

The idea was to promote his view of material arts by movies. And that works very well, even today, long after his death.

If you want to hear a world champion evaluation (Chuck Norris) of Bruce's fighting capabilities i suggest you look it up its on tube as well.

Its true he was an artist not a tournament fighter.

He was certainly no Professor or Monk. what he certainly did do was studying material arts and he certainly was an actor. He learned and trained different styles looking for perfection. Then he combined elements and created his own style. And then he completely threw styles (including his own) overboard as he realized styles are a purely mechanical way of reaction and he went on to favour flexibility. He wrote a book on his research. And he certainly was influenced by Zen (no surprise: Shaolin).

Bruce Lee did not study or trained in China Continental, he only was an actor who won money doing films. He was not a monk buddhist or taoist.
