erickong311, please correct me. I thought Momoe was about 21 when she retired to start her family.

How can it be that her son was about 25 when she sang her last concert??

Or did I misunderstand that you said her son is 25 now, in 2009?? Thank you.

is about 25 year old,

I discovered Momoe by pure chance (perhaps it was fate) about 2 years ago. I listen to Momoe on many different occasions but especially when life is a bit rough, her songs bring much light and happiness to the day.

She retired at the age of 21, at the peak of her stardom when she decided to marry a longtime co-star of many of her movies. Since then she has not made a single comeback attempt, preferring the family life and the traditional ways instead.

So much respect for her decision. Many times an artist (or even a television show) stays too long and the later product is much weaker. Momoe is beautiful in all ways!
