Although I don't mind Angela's voice. I think the song righting as a whole was better around the Burning Bridges era...

Have you taken the time to watch them live? They're far from sounding poppy just yet. FAR from it. They've evolved in their melodies, hence why people are such ignorant retards to call it pop, but it is melo death after isn't it? MELODIC death metal.

His vocals don't go with the riffing in this song though. This is probably the only one on the Root of Evil album that Angela did better than Johan. The other stuff from Johan and AE is pretty damn awesome though. I prefer Angela myself. AE is more a melo death band (musically), and Johans style is too thrash and not enough death for it.

@Timothy3131 - COMPLETLEY AGREE. I also think this arch enemy is just generally more original and more intense. Its a shame about the aduio quality though mann D:

absolutely agreed, and the band is a lot heavier here than their later singles. (I don't have any albums of theirs, but I assume the rest of the material gets shittier too)
