What I would do to see Lafaro doing 'Waltz For Debby' with Bill..that would probably be one the greatest things I've ever seen.

Yes seeing LaFaro would have been great...I know a bass player who was at the Vangaurd when those recordings were done. At one point some chick says out loud "well I( still etc etc after which my friend whispers to her"hey this is a living legend playing" she promptly shut up.You can easily hear her blabbing on the recording...If people want to talk why do they have to pick a venue with Jazz musicians playing, especially of this calibre! Evans should have done mainly concerts

Wow, that's awesome he was able to experience such a great moment in jazz history. From what I hear Bill and Scotty where supposedly going to go there separate ways not to long after this.
