i agree with madeforkitade , squaresoft are only obsessed with money . final fantasy was a legend . they really set their mind on money now . later on , the game will be become a non quality game . trust me .

When Squaresoft merged with Enix, Square became a company obsessed with only money, not the fans, the consumers, or the story, they just dish games out for money, the proof of this is with how many spin offs of Final Fantasy VII there are, Kazushige Nojima and Yoshinori Kitase would never of let that happen.

Final Fantasy X-2 was the last game, and Enix didn't take over Square, they merged.

no... final fantasy x was the last square soft game..............!!! enix just used the engine... then made FF XI online... the whole feel of the game has dramaticly changed, it doesnt feel like final fantasy anymore, before it was relaxed but now its more i dont know........ enix ruined final fantasy it should have stopped at 10

I know Square were developing up until Unlimited Saga. Enix didn't ruin it, they don't control everything about FF, it is still Square. Just without Idol Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu. You sound like you don't like FF anymore, but I bet you'll keep buying the games right =) I know I will, love the FF series, and Square-Enix.

yeah... its not the same though :-'( its true i dont enjoy playing the new FF the latest one i played was 12, although 13 looks good.... the stuff on the DS looks good also! but i dont have one :( - i wont buy it though lol... i just love the old ones there so relaxed you dont have to worry about dieing loads half the time with out much effort its nice hehe..

FFXI was originally a Squaresoft game. The latest expansions and updates have turned it into a Square-Enix game.

There's no more "Square Soft", but "Square Enix".
