"Emotionless crap"? How sad to discover that anyone could prefer new-age elevator pabulum like Sarah McLachlan to the great Lady 'Day. I guess nothing good was performed before 1990.

the only other version of this song on youtube which is worth listening is that by pyotr leshchenko....he has an operatic voice though.....which makes it more enigmatic and magnificent...this is the sadder version though...only problem is that leshchenko is russian

I don't like this version. the original was both beautiful and on the verge of being depressing. An extremely vulnerable song, but brilliant. I've heard other versions, like Sarah McLachlan's calming version and Björk's wonderful and emotional version.

This version is plain emotionless crap.
