sad thing about the new movie is that it has one good scene in it that was edited by someone ellse from the rest of the movie it had to have been because it was the opening scene and unfortunatly was edited by a master a ture artist. i hate when they do good things in bad movies

aye lukewarm shit, without nimoy or quinto it would have tanked balls. i wonder if abrams even watched star trek, the new bickering spock/kirk/mccoy with little humor sucks as do the no more straight lasers. like terminator salvaton another pointless mindfuck reboot, the music for this and terminator sucked balls.

Well if you take into account the whole alternate timeline part of the story, with Kirk losing his father etc, it's fair enough to assume they would grow up to be different people. It's thin, but good enough for Hollywood.
