That protest looks very civilised and gentle. If the political placards weren't there, I would have confused it with a folk music event! Considering what's happened to Iceland's financial system and what will inevitably happen to its economy, I'm surprised the citizens aren't much more angry with the governors of their central bank.

It's probably not as bad as you think. ;)
People live as usual, go to work, cinema, to shop or party. Country's economy is down at the moment but it doesn't affect daily life so far.
Iceland is great place to visit and just to be. Beautiful winter's coming. By the way, Icelandic Krona is very cheap now so it's the best moment to visit the island. :)

you are worse off then you think iceland sets the trend for the world well fashion anyway lol sure its a nice place to be with no money.

i'm telling you - with money it is a nice place as well. but don't talk about fashion with icelanders. they do believe they set trends.
