only in remtoe areas and in the countryside.solar panel mess up the nice emblematic victorian and art deco art of most buildings. I cannot see those flat things anywhere in the capital.

Yeah it can although people think it won't work in the UK because we do not have enough 'sunshine'. All you need is light energy and some heat energy, these two create the output for electrical energy.
