if you really think so, then modest mouse sounds like the talking heads, not the other way around... but i don't think anybody could ever be as insanely imaginative and genuinely perfected than these guys. bands like pink floyd, steely dan and talking heads took rock and roll and did what nobody else could. not even 'modest mouse'

First off... i know im not fucking stupid i know that modest mouse would sound like the talking heads. and second off, the person who pointed it out to me was my dad... he grew up with this band so... jog on. and third I love all the bands you named off... kay? I am a huge fan of pink floyd.... and not just another brick in the wall part 2.
