His mic was led into the console and the sound was driven out to a headphone. The headphone was on a metal can with another mic in it. The result was the megaphone effect. Cool, isn't it?

So I can see Queen members sperimentating with they versatile skills and musical tastes for an incredible album-wich I recently an finally got on CD- avoiding machine sounds.
