Wilhelm Kempff plays Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata mvt. 2

I always viewed this movement as sarcastic. It never truly made sense to me.

it's one of the most beautiful pieces i've ever heard...pure genius.

not sure about the term incarnation. A movement is nothing more fancy than a section of a musical work.

I think this is my favorite movement of the three...

It's absolutely not a filler. You can just feel his renewed will to live, after the 1st movement, and it tells you the story perfectly, as it is.

I think he wrote something happy because he was buzzing about how good the first movement was!

omg, how can you call this a filler. Beethoven would turn in his grave...

Mov 1 is like about sadness and lonelyness, but this makes something like a happy day =)

I already know the 1st mov and im now learning this one... they´re so beautiful...

I still don't know why, but I've never liked the second movement. Even when played so well by Kempff.
