One of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. De Niro is the best, and director of this movie made masterpiece....And music in this movie just can make you cry. I love it !

it didn't have much success in the states bcs they thought the movie was too long and so they just cut all the scenes so it lasted 80 mins without telling s.leone. when he found out he was really upset

Yes, it was his last movie, and up to his death, he never really got over that.

It was like it was his baby, and they mutilated it to "save it" (to get more screenings in theatres), but all that did was confuse audiences to hell......

Characters were entirely cut, others flitted in and out without explanation, the structure was shifted, the final Noodles-Deborah scene was cut, and the ending was different.

Had it been released Leone's way, it woulda been a hit, and Best Picture....

Que significa el camion de la basura con James Wood saliendo de su casa. El mismo James Wood decia que su significado era "arrojar todo tu pasado a la basura".
