I hate all these youtube Nazis, just listen to the song and shut up, this isn't a forum, take your pretentious music knowledge elsewhere - particularly if it's wrong. Thankyou so much abnergarson for making all of these, I've just stuck them on as a playlist while I write a truly awfu drama essay, nothing like abit of Bon Iver.

actually mob music76, this song is about when justin was playing poker, or its certainly contains some poker references which are true to justin. u obviously have never watched him live, cos he always dedicates this song to poker players, and discuses chip stacks! u know your stuff evan2442. clearly mobmusic doesnt!

umm this song is NOT about "an epiphany vernon has at a poker table" the person who wrote that (evan 2442) clearly does not get the concept of metaphor, in poetry.

the song is about when Justin had an epiphany in his life while he was at a poker table. the stacks are a reference to the stacks of chips in front of him, or lack thereof. and in the beginning he mentions the excavation of Kumran, where the dead sea scrolls were found and changed or confirmed the way a lot of people were living religously or spiritualy and he's making an analogy to that and the way he changed his life after gambling and drinking, etc...
