What if 3G has already been on the iPhone all the time, just been held back by Apple to make more money in the future? It does in fact say "3G" on every AT&T SimCard inside Apple's iPhone.. I know this video is fake, but still, there is a possibilitiy 3G hardware is already in side the iPhone ;)

the only way they could enable 3g on the iphones through the software update is to already have the chipset in the iphone.

but then they wouldnt have th required hardware for 3g and just not enable it.
